- Providing systems engineering and integration technical support for satellite communications network systems including Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and associated systems.
- Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.
- Analyze user needs and requirements to plan architecture.
- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.
- Support development of and review all levels of planning guidance in support of cyber operations.
- Support planning in system of systems engineering, integrating networks, databases, and software.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or relevant Engineering degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of risk management processes.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).
- Knowledge of software engineering
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and methods that apply to software development.
- Ability to implement Zero Trust security in DoD Systems/Software
- AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
- Working knowledge of the Satellite Control Network (SCN) or similar DoD program.
- Security+, CISSP, CCNA or similar relevant certification
- Current TS/SCI clearance.
