Description

Basic Function:
Oversee civil construction on projects.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Site visits to inspect and measure existing building conditions and observe work for conformance with design.
  • Perform CAD drafting of engineering designs.
  • Coordinate with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications/Skills:


  • Strong personal, organizational, and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work with a group and on an individual basis.
  • Ability to analyze problems and work with a team to develop proficient solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)

Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an Engineering or Construction field
  • AutoCAD experience

The employee is required to sit for a substantial amount of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move at least 25lbs occasionally (overhead, waist level) from floor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.

The employee must be able to enter confined spaces such as crawlspaces and may be working from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages or scaffolding.
