Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain through various therapeutic exercises and treatments.

You will play a crucial role in assisting patients in their recovery process and providing ongoing support and guidance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patients' progress and report back to the physical therapist
Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and documenting patient progress
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team setting
Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with physical activities
Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and treatments
Attention to detail and organizational skills
