- A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience; 2+ years of RN experience in ICU preferred.
- Recent acute care experience and/or nursing practice experience
- Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Education-BSN or MSN preferred, if Associate Degree then must be within one year of obtaining BSN or MSN.
- Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.
- BLS required. Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire.
- RN license-licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
