Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and manage a highly productive, motivated, and driven team through strong communication, empowerment, reward and coaching techniques
- Maintain close working relationships with partner groups in functional areas, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Compliance
- Maximize staff's productivity through schedule optimization and goal management
- Interview, hire, and manage staff production and behavioral performance (including annual performance reviews) utilizing metrics, analytics and feedback from the H.R. Team
- Recruit, hire, train staff, supervise, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
- Be involved in the identification, assessment, development planning and review of successors to positions
- Coordinate with the human resources team to develop and implement effective skills training when appropriate
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of operations
- Develop short and longterm operational strategies in partnership with Executive Leadership and provide the leadership necessary for the successful design, development, and execution of that strategy to achieve outcomes
- Establish and maintain relationships with all internal and external customers
- Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with assigned departments
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide leadership at all levels of the organization
- Communicate and embody the company vision and values
- Build up the company by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and mentoring new talent
- Define and implement policies and performance standards
- Evaluate employee performance and provide additional coaching and support as needed
- Assess departmental and company performance and devise plans for improvement
- Manage profit and loss statements and account for costs and revenues
- Allocate budget resources for supplies, equipment, marketing, and personnel
- Past managerial experience preferred
