We are looking for a Compliance Officer (m/f/d) for the Commercial Services department of the Ulm Waste Management Company (EBU) as soon as possible.

Full-time, permanent position. Payment is based on pay group 11 TVöD.


Your tasks:

independent development and implementation of a concept for a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) with an integrated Internal Control System for taxes (ICS) to prevent organizational misconduct of EBU as a tax debtor independent creation and development of work instructions, guidelines and documentation within the TCMS/ICS framework, taking into account current laws and jurisprudence and their further development contact person for tax-related questions and in the invoice workflow (RWF) independent determination of taxable sales and tax rates and independent, responsible and self-reliant submission of corresponding advance returns to the city as well as statistics.

This includes further development of technical evaluation options implementation of the effects of changes to § 2b UStG; evaluations of previous assessments and preparation of final implementation for EBU, taking into account the new legal situation and jurisprudence participation in the design of the operation of commercial enterprises.

Development of solutions to optimize the tax burden of EBU and work processes The transfer of further tasks and a specific delimitation of the area of responsibility remains reserved for the newly created staff position in the department
