SUMMARY:


The Childrens Mobile Intervention Services (CMIS) Clinical Director oversees the CMIS behavioral health program by providing clinical leadership to all clinical personnel, in tandem with the Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor.

This position ensures the provision of trauma-informed, evidence-based, resolution-focused crisis resolution services to children and adolescents who have experienced a behavioral and/or psychiatric crises and were referred by our collaborative partners.

The Clinical Director ensures that the CMIS program provides intensive therapeutic services for up to six weeks, including therapy, case management, skill building, and connection with ongoing treatment services.

As needed, this position provides oversight of the Childrens Mobile Crisis Team Services (CMCTS) program by overseeing all clinical staff and families receiving services.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


A Masters degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a mental health discipline, such as clinical psychology, mental health counseling, clinical social work, or other clinically related discipline.

The degree must have prepared the student for provision of clinical services via a practicum and internship experience provided in a clinical setting with children and adolescents, with on-site supervision.

Online degrees without direct clinical supervision will not be accepted. The degree must have prepared the student for clinical licensure throughout the completion of the Masters degree program. A minimum of three-years post-Masters experience providing clinical treatment services to children and adolescents is required. A minimum of two-years providing clinical supervision in a child/adolescent child services agency is required. Additional training in trauma-informed care is required. Training and experience providing at least one model of evidence-based treatment is required.


Active Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (with clinical social work degree), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (with experience treating children/adolescents), or Licensed Psychologist, is required.
