WindMW Service GmbH has been operating the base station for the Meerwind Süd|Ost wind farm on Helgoland since 2014, located approximately 23 km north of the island. This makes a significant contribution to the efficient supply of renewable offshore wind energy in Germany.

Our service team is also stationed on the island, responsible for maintaining the 80 turbines in the wind farm. We are currently seeking an experienced offshore service technician (m/f/d) with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our team. You will be transported to your assignments daily from Helgoland by ship or helicopter.

Your responsibilities will include

After an intensive training period with us, you will join our service team and be responsible for the technical maintenance and upkeep of the wind turbines. This includes regular inspections and maintenance of their subsystems, such as communication equipment, close-range markings, anti-corrosion systems, cranes, and 33kV switchgear. You will also spend some of your time working on a laptop, documenting completed tasks and reporting any quality issues through our software.

Requirements

A solid technical education, such as an apprenticeship as an electrician, electrical installer, or industrial mechatronics technician (m/f/d), preferably with additional training as an industrial master or technician (m/f/d).
