Job Summary:


We currently have a Contract Administrator position available in our Concord/Sacramento location, hybrid role (must be local to either location).


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate and uphold Charge core values:

  • Problemsolving and negotiation:
  • Coordinate & facilitate with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external customers to solve contractrelated problems as they arise.
  • Contract database, spend monitoring and tracking:
  • Sustain a reliable and accessible database of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) allowing stakeholder accessibility to all pertinent and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain a system to notify internal responsible parties of contract spend on a regular cadence.
  • Sustain a system to clearly identify contracts affected by a rebate program and partner with the accounting department to ensure the amounts are accurately tracked/updated throughout the year.
  • Monitor the spend of contracts and work proactively with clients and internal departments to facilitate the change order process when necessary.
  • Maintain a tracking system to monitor the expiration dates of each contract.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to track committed costs for each contract.
  • New customer intake and compliance:
  • Ensure that all new customers are tracked and go through the Charge new customer intake process.
  • Schedule discussions with new customers to ensure compliance with Charge requirements.
  • Contract review and compliance:
  • Prepare contractual agreements for subcontractors with provided templates.
  • Distribute to all business departments contractual requirements (Contract Reference Guide).
  • Validate that contract terms and conditions adhere to company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Clearly explain contract terminology in simple, everyday language to subcontractors, clients, internal teams, and other interested parties.
  • Selfmonitor progress according to completion schedules to submit drafts and documents in a timely manner.
  • Proofread, edit, and factcheck legal documents for accuracy and consistency, adhering to provided style guides if available.
  • Contract administration and support:
  • Support the recording and tracking of all contracts (Sub and Prime) in a centralized and orderly manner for all internal parties.
  • Support the requests of but not limited to Certificate of Insurances, Bonds, Nondisclosure agreements and claim investigations.
  • Provide support to Accounts Receivable in resolving contractrelated issues.
  • Assist with special projects as directed by the Contracts Management Specialist and/or Director Corporate Services.

_Education and Experience:
_


  • Utility industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of prime/subcontract administration, accounting, or law experience or 57 years without related degree will be considered

_Physical requirements:
_


  • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
  • Work at a desk and on computer approximately 68 hours per day
  • Perform with frequent interruptions and/or distractions
  • Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload

_Compensation:
_
$66,000K - $75,000K Depending on experience.

  • Compensation + bonus potential, + 100% paid full benefits for you and your family, generous paid time off, and an employer funded retirement plan. You must successfully pass a background and drug test prior to the start date.
