Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Team Associate at The UPS Store.

The Team Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by providing exceptional customer service, handling various tasks efficiently, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
○ Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, providing accurate information about our services and products.

○ Process shipping, packing, and printing orders with precision and attention to detail.

○ Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Operational Support:
○ Operate computerized shipping and point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately.

○ Pack and ship packages using appropriate materials and methods to ensure items are delivered safely and securely.

○ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking supplies and performing routine store maintenance tasks.

Product Knowledge:
○ Familiarize yourself with the range of services and products offered by The UPS Store, including shipping options, printing services, and packaging materials.

○ Provide recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences, upselling additional services or products when appropriate.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail or serviceoriented environment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate store hours and operational needs.
