  • Under close supervision, performs a variety of routine and regular cleaning, lawn care maintenance and/or landscaping duties within the County Parks' open areas, buildings, grounds, parks facilities, campsites, ballparks, and recreation sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

The equivalent of a high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.


SAFETY SENSITIVE:


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular visits to County Facilities and work sites are required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work requires moderate physical effort involving considerable walking and standing with intermittent sitting and driving. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.

Employee must frequently be able to lift and carry/move up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally lift and carry/move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust while performing the duties of this job.

Employee will routinely and regularly work in the outdoor environment and will experience outside weather conditions. Seasonal weather exposure may include rain, cold or hot temperatures with high humidity.

Employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, and is frequently exposed to vibration from equipment.

The employee may work in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
