Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take and develop dental xrays
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments

Qualifications:

• Aseptic technique: Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to maintain a sterile environment
• Medical terminology: Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
• Anatomy knowledge: Understanding of oral anatomy and dental structures
• HIPAA: Knowledge of patient privacy regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
• X-Ray: Proficiency in taking dental xrays and ensuring proper image quality
• Assisting: Ability to provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
• Patient assessment: Ability to assess patients' oral health conditions and report findings to the dentist

Note:
Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.


Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
