    Our Learning Management System Administrator will provide technical leadership in the support of Nebraska Medicine's learning management system (LMS). Responsible for the support, design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used in the LMS. Act as the primary system administrator responsible for the installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS. Serve as an internal liaison between the Office of Health Professions Education (OHPE), on-line learning vendor(s), HRIS team, marketing, and Instructional Designers to ensure the continuity, availability, and reliability of the LMS for the organization.

    Required Qualifications:

    •Bachelor's degree in human resources administration, business administration, Information Technology, instructional design or a field related to the position required.

    •A minimum of one year of work experience from the two categories below required.

    •working with and administering a LMS (such as NetDimensions, HealthStream, PeopleFluent, Moodle, Cornerstone, Lessonly, Sumtotal, Infor, Canvas, Articulate Online, Adobe Captivate Prime, SilkRoad, Taleo, SkillSoft).

    •working with instructional design, curriculum design, adult learning principles and measurement strategies as part of a training or learning team.

    •Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, data mapping/conversion and systems integration and/or provisioning required.

    •Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues required.

    •Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization required.

    •Ability to provide end-user support and troubleshooting required.

    •Demonstrated knowledge of e-learning industry standards, including their application to creation and deployment of standards- compliant content required.

    •Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.

    •Ability to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects required.

    •General software applications/programs required.

    •Admin Client (for administration and management of the LMS product) required.

    •Understanding of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and/or Aviation Industry CBT [Computer-Based Training] Committee (AICC) required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    •Instructional design and/or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) background experience preferred.

    •Demonstrated experience including a strong understanding/utilization of a Learning Management System (LMS) and Microsoft Outlook preferred.

    •Experience with Captivate, Storyline, Flash, Java, and/or Action Script for E-Learning content development/enrichment preferred.

    •Experience with Visual Basic for LMS customization preferred.

    •Knowledge Experience with xAPI and Learning Record Stores (LRS) preferred.

    •Knowledge/Experience with Javascript, HTML and FTP preferred.

    •Experience with configuration, requirements analysis and management of enterprise applications preferred.

    •Experience guiding and developing others towards their goals, providing appropriate feedback and coaching preferred.

    •Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

    •Experience working collaboratively with all positions in a healthcare environment preferred.

    •Understanding of web design and database tools, strong knowledge of graphic design and layout preferred.

    •Knowledge of SQL preferred.

    •Ability to demonstrate competence in web design preferred.

    •Ability to demonstrate competency in video editing preferred.
