    Summary & Objective


    Manage, log and review for approval and monitor the timely placement of orders for all memorial concerns (markers, monuments, vases, benches, portraits, emblems, memorial, crypt and niche engraving, etc.).

    Must be a Team Player.

    The duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating principles of Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Miami.

    Essential Functions

    Places all in house orders for markers, monuments and all other memorial concerns with respective vendors, logging dates ordered, acknowledged, received and installed; to ensure the timely and proper handling.

    Daily communication with vendors, Matthews/Century Granite/Everlasting Granite/Eagle Granite.

    Miscellaneous memorial orders:
    Benches/Portraits/Emblems/Urns/ etc.

    Maintain a log of all urns, vase rings and niche vases.
    Maintain a log of approved Memorial Applications for installation by outside vendors and V.A. memorials which must be scanned in HMIS (Cemetery softwear).
    Maintain a log of all inscription orders for crypt/niche/inscription engravings which must be scanned in HMIS.
    Must be fully versed in cemetery rules and regulations as pertains to memorials.
    Must communicate with our sales department, memorial dealers and families.
    Process vendor invoices verifying relative License numbers, assigning PO #, before submitting to payables department.

    All new orders must be entered in HMIS (Cemetery Softwear) as a work order and update work order as memorial order changes status.

    Once memorial arrives work order is updated and copies are given to maintenance memorial department for installation
    Assists on yearly inventory counts of urns, memorial products, emblems, foundations, sample monuments, markers, emblems, urns
    Must scan and upload file in HMIS (Cemetery soft wear)

    Other Duties
    Provides orientation to new employees as needed.
    Maintain your required license, certifications and mandatory skill updates.
    Comply with all policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibility
    May serve as an interim department leader depending on need

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.

    Requirements

    Knowledge & Experience Requirements
    High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
    Must have knowledge of computer office software
    Must be able to read, write and understand English and Spanish
