- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, recordkeeping, tax form preparation, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Monitor and balance bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with university policies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Analyze student accounts, including billing, collections, and inquiries.
- Assist in purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders and reconciling invoices.
- Manage credit card transactions and reconcile statements.
- Prepare risk insurance reports and respond to questionnaires from insurance providers.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the Business Office team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field helpful, but not required.
- Proven experience of 5-7 years in accounting or financial management role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
