Position Description:
ThinkTek is in search of a Security Analyst holding an active Top Secret security clearance. This role involves supporting the industrial security oversight mission by conducting impactful pre-Security Review research and analysis related to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Various sources are researched, primarily commercial and government databases, controlled unclassified information (CUI), and publicly available information (PAI). Due to COVID-19 precautions, a temporary hybrid work model combining telework and on-site support is in place. Candidates need to be within daily commuting distance of the office location. Security clearance validity can be confirmed through the Defense Information System for Security through DISS-JVS or "Scattered Castles."

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process changes affecting cleared facilities and inprocessing facilities influencing Facility Security Clearance (FCL).
• Ensure customers' security programs comply with DD 254s
• Document change condition actions in Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD)
• Coordinate all necessary internal and external correspondence related to facility clearance and change condition requests
• Summarize contractors' actions and impact on FCLs in a weekly analysis report within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
• Conduct survey follow-up actions from DCSA field office reports; oversee Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) management

Required

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of international dynamics concerning U.S. security interests
• Proficiency in security-related data systems like NISS and DISS-JVS
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
• Current Top-Secret (TS) security clearance verifiable through DISS-JVS before onboarding
