Description

The Community Support Program (CSP) is a coalition of participants who use behavioral health services, family members, behavioral health professionals, and other community members who are working together to help individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders to live successfully in the community.

The CSP Program Facilitator cooperatively guides CSP initiatives and activities, involving stakeholders and developing the leadership capacity of members.

The CSP Facilitator leads the planning efforts for CSP, recruit's participants and speakers, attends health fairs and community meetings, plans and executes events, and works to grow the program.

Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills, be comfortable with public speaking, have strong organization and planning experience.

Qualifications:

  • Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder. Must meet state guidelines for
serious mental illness adult priority group services either current or past.

  • Highschool diploma or GED.
  • Ability to make cold calls to individuals and groups.
  • Ability to bring disparate groups of people together to work towards a common cause.
  • An ability to mentor participants in a recoveryoriented manner.
  • Demonstrated facility with computer software, social media, and technology.
  • Must have reliable transportation and agency accepted level of insurance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with, and commitment to, recoveryoriented systems of care.
  • Ability to work independently in the community.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Successful completion of State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearances.
  • Documented eligibility to work in the United States.

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
