What you'll do:


  • Create and review daily schedules for all Arcosa Stationary Crushing Scales
  • Advises Dispatchers of orders for delivery; including shipments, truck size and payments
  • Provide directions as needed, using Google maps, and enter proper routes into scale orders.
  • Assist Dispatchers and Sales as needed to take customer orders
  • Recruit independent drivers as needed to service customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of 3rd party operators
  • Ensure all required deliveries to customers/jobs are met by supplying necessary trucks to each scale house.
  • Contact customers to verify readiness to accept loads of material, plan the speed of delivery and confirm how man trucks are needed to complete the job
  • Provides customer information as required, answer basic questions regarding type, quality, quantity and timeliness of deliveries. May forward customers to sales department for further assistance if needed
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports of activity
  • Monitor petty cash receipts and disbursements of each scale
  • Review timecard entries for all assigned employees
  • Lead, Coach and Train Dispatchers for optimal performance; aid when improvement is needed, deliver disciplinary actions as required
  • Monitor inventory to complete scheduled orders
  • Make quick decisions for the expedition of the daily schedule
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

What you'll need:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to converse with other employees and supervisors
  • Perform office functions described as follows:
  • Basic computer skills required, strong emphasis in Excel
  • Basic math and 10key adding machine skills
  • Six years or more of relevant work experience
  • Ability to read maps and provide Drivers with directions to customer locations
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus
