Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor will oversee security operations, ensuring the safety and security of the premises and personnel. All sites are located in Prince George's county MD.
Duties:
- Supervise security staff and coordinate their activities
- Implement security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment
- Conduct regular patrols to monitor activity and prevent security breaches
- Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly and appropriately
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Train security personnel on security procedures and protocols
- Monitor surveillance equipment and ensure its proper functioning
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in security or related field 3+ years
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Valid drivers license
- Your own reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Skills:
- Loss prevention
- Conflict management
- Law enforcement and/or corrections officer background is a plus
- Security officer experience is a plus
