Stone-Mart Marble & Travertine Group is North America's leading supplier of marble, travertine, limestone, porcelain tile and paver products. Stone-Mart services the entire US with 7 operating Florida locations and 1 operating Texas location.
Stone-Mart, is seeking a Outside Sales Representative responsible for the overall sales function of the all interior and exterior product lines and related accessories.
This will include maintaining existing business, generating leads, creating new business through research and development including cold calling, increasing customer orders, and developing/maintaining customer relationships while providing world class customer service.
As a representative of Stone-Mart, you will increase company revenue by growing and maximizing sales of products within Texas and nearby states.
*Job Summary- Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue
- Urgently responsive to customers' needs and inquiries
- Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers
- Responsible for identifying and prospecting projects to use the Stone-Mart products
- Develop/maintain relationships and provide great service to pool and paver companies, Landscape Architects to obtain project specifications leading to future sales
- Grow and manage opportunity/pipeline for future territory growth
- Work closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies
- Analyze market trends and develop action plan to capitalize on shifts in market
- Quote prices, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
- Setting up displays
- Product Knowledge training for contractors, sales reps of our resellers, architects, interior designers
- This is not an office position. This position requires driving all day in the territory to visit B2B accounts, finding new contractors and develop the sales in the territory.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education
- 2 years related experience managing a multimillion dollar territory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Travel in the territory to visit customers, set up displays ,train their sales people
- Company will provide a company vehicle, gas card and pay hotel and food expenses when travel to the east coast counties to visit customers
- Clean background
- Preemployment and random drug testing
- Experience within the building materials industry is preferred
- Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform
