Deputy Laboratory Manager (m/f/d) in the field of construction at MPA Bremen

Full-time (39.2 hours/week), permanent position

The Official Materials Testing Institute (MPA) Bremen is a division of the Leibniz Institute for Materials-Oriented Technologies - IWT.

The MPA sees itself as a research institution primarily focused on applied topics, with a focus on construction material recycling.

In addition, we offer services in the areas of material and construction testing, as well as damage analysis. Our strength lies in the close collaboration of all departments, which allows us to offer problem-oriented solutions.


What we need your expertise for:

  • Deputy management of the laboratory for mechanical and technical testing in the construction department
  • Processing of testing orders, including customer support and consultation, development of testing options, independent execution of laboratory and onsite investigations
  • Preparation of test reports and expert opinions
  • Monitoring of concrete installation at construction sites of monitoring class 2/
  • Inspections at construction material producers in Germany and abroad
