Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF an Etnyre International Company, is a full-service metal manufacturing facility that specializes in heavy and light fabrication for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is to pull and verify components into a kit from a work order, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all job functions.

This position will be responsible for inventory management and cycle counting in the designated product line.


MAJOR DUTIES:


  • Read work orders and determine components to be kitted.
  • Accurately pull parts and verify part number and quantity.
  • Sort, label, and place materials on racks, carts, or bins as required.
  • Issue parts to work orders using inventory control software
  • Correct pick ticket issues within the designated product line
  • Communicate gaps with appropriate team, including parts shortages and bill of material changes
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory level, including reconciling part counts against computer system
  • Perform cycle counts on inventory manually as well as using reel counters/scales
  • Moving merchandise with forklift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Must have strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Experienced in basic math, computer skills and Microsoft Access.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Some bending and twisting are required. Routine duties will occasionally require lifting approximately 10-20 pounds (and periodically heavier loads.)
