Chemical Lab Operator


Responsibilities include:

  • Perform testing of products
  • Operate PLC control panels
  • Handson assembly/disassembly of equipment
  • Experienced in operation of process units
  • Responsible for independently running equipment
  • Record and analyze data from process runs.
  • Set up controls for recording of data on PLC and other data recording devices.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lab equipment.
  • Accurately weigh and ensure that the correct ingredients are used as indicated in the manufacturing order
  • Maintain good written, verbal communication with management, engineers and mechanics
  • Follow all company safety policies, good manufacturing practices and maintain good hygiene
  • Work with reactors, pumps, filter press, spray dryers, GMP etc.
  • Potential for Over Time
Experience: 5+ years chemical operations experience, ideally in chemical plant operations; or as a plant maintenance mechanic with electronic/controls skills


Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

- chemical operator: 5 years (required)
- record and analyze process runs: 2 years (required)

  • PLC (operator) controls: 2 years (required)
