Position Overview:


The Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO+T) Division helps enable and transform Freddie Mac's business by building world-class IT operating systems and providing the tools and resources employees need to perform at their best.

Our division is seeking a
Risk & Controls Reporting Tech Lead (7-10 years of experience) to join the EO+T Risk Governance Reporting team.

This team is responsible for developing and executing our 1st line of defense operational risk management reporting.

This position plays a critical role by reporting emerging risks & issues and supporting risk metrics program for EO+T Division.

EO+T Risk Governance Reporting supports our division in all matters related to operational risk management reporting.

We act as trusted reporters for our business partners as we proactively monitor and report risks that may prevent our division from meeting its objectives.


Your Impact:


  • Support efforts to analyze and report emerging risks and issues within the division to prepare EO+T Divisional Risk Profile report.
  • Prepare executive reports to support Risk Working Group, Divisional Risk Committee, and Operational Risk Management
  • Compile and analyze issue data to produce various Issue Management reports on time for various stakeholders
  • Support EO+T Risk Metrics program by aggregating data and reporting the metric results by using business intelligence tools
  • Maintain and support enhancing or automating current Tableau or Excel dashboards & reports
  • Monitor and resolve data quality anomalies
  • Manage change requests on key risk/performance metrics
  • Undertake adhoc projects related to new and ongoing risk governance efforts as needed

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 710 years of experience working in data management, data analytics and reporting or a similar business function/role
  • Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint
Preferred

  • Advanced Tableau skills
  • 12 years of experience working in risk and issue management
  • Financial industry experience

FLSA Status:
Exempt

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.


This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.

The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
