American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing segment.
The team's mission is to dramatically increase adoption and frequency of usage through a combination of in-depth insights, superior user experience and compelling features and functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create a product backlog, continuously prioritize user stories
- Deliver highquality, functional capabilities with the help of a crossfunctional agile team
- Efficiently lead projects independently including, but not limited to, building consensus while also identifying risks and removing roadblocks
- Partner with teams across the global enterprise to improve American Express capabilities and accelerate delivery
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to define functionality, document capabilities, business rules, use cases, and process flows
- Own recurring status reporting activities for a leadership and senior leadership audience
- Lead communication and collaboration with stakeholder groups
- Work in an agile environment with the skills to break down sophisticated work requirements into right sized features consumable by an agile scrum team

- Highly organized familiarity with project management techniques, frameworks, and tools

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners to drive collaboration and alignment
- Technical proficiency ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technology and business teams
- Agile Product Development proficiency ability to prioritize and translate clients' and business needs into features and user stories
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of related experience in Product Development or Product Management
- Experience working with corporate clients and Enterprise software solutions
- Ability to positively challenge the status quo, identify improvements and clearly communicate vision and recommendations
- Experience with software product development and Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent working experience
- Knowledge of corporate products in European markets is a plus
- Able to thrive in undefined, complex project spaces
- Proven success in creating structure despite ambiguous environments
- High attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and controls
- Strong resultsorientation, resourcefulness, and flexibility to overcome significant obstacles to goal achievement in a fastpaced environment
- Quick learner and great teammate
Salary Range:
$90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
