SAP Security Manager
Location:Norfolk, VA (Remote)
Employment Type: Contract to Permanent Hire
Employment Length: 3 - 6 month contract w/ conversion
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive SAP security strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard critical business information and assets.
Support the management of user access and authorizations within the SAP environment, including assisting with role-based access controls (RBAC), user provisioning, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis.
Aid in the administration of SAP security functions, including user administration, role maintenance, and security configuration.
Assist in conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess potential risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
Collaborate with senior team members in responding to security incidents and breaches within the SAP environment, including participating in investigation, containment, and remediation efforts.
Support efforts to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to SAP security.
Contribute to training and awareness programs to educate SAP users and stakeholders on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
Assist in vendor management activities, including collaborating with external vendors and service providers to enhance SAP security capabilities and address emerging threats.
Support the maintenance of accurate documentation of SAP security configurations, policies, and procedures, and assist in preparing regular reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
Stay informed about the latest SAP security trends, technologies, and best practices, and assist in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of SAP security controls and processes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Secret Clearance
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent are a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Prior experience or coursework related to SAP security administration is a plus.
