- Professional knowledge of areas of responsibility (including theories, principles, and concepts) normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Networking, Computer Science, MIS or closely related discipline, with 6 or more years of work experience.
- Demonstrates experience in implementing, maintaining and upgrading IDS, Firewall configuration, email encryption and PHI filtering as well as Anti-Spam / Virus and content filtering necessary.
- Cisco security appliance experience in the following: FTD, Cisco Defense Orchestrator, ISE, Agari. SecureX, Umbrella.
- Experience conducting audits and assessments of network, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory security to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience in one or more of the following cloud service provider platform frameworks (AWS, Azure) and security controls.
- Experience configuring and maintaining DMARC, DKIM and SPF.
- Experience configuring Site to Site VPNs on Cisco Firewalls.
- Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and network monitoring.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST CSF and HITECH information security directives a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and analytical skills necessary to resolve problems.
- Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and be able to meet the insurance requirements.
