An Interim Secret Clearance is required


This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test Site.

As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.


Basic Qualifications:


Minimum 5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license or 3 years F-35 specific avionics experience.

Experience with reading and interpreting Aircraft Technical Data Instructions.

Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.

Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, Technical Data.


Desired Skills:

Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints and maintenance instructions.

Previous flight test or military fighter aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and or avionics a plus.

Possess an ability to work in a diverse work culture environment.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:9x80 every other Friday off

The base range for this position in California is $ $46.83.
