    Assistant Director of NursingAhava Healthcare is a leading senior care provider dedicated to providing a compassionate, patient-centered health care experience through a culture of caring, quality, and excellence in the communities we serve.

    ADON Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for organizing, implementing, and directing the daily operations of the clinical department in accordance with state and federal regulations.


    Their leadership role includes the following responsibilities:
    Communicate policy and procedures to clinical staff, monitor staff and practices.

    Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.

    Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.

    Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.

    Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
    ADON RequirementsCurrent unrestricted LPN or RN license in practicing stateMinimum of 3 years' experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facilityCurrent CPR certificationKnowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulationsFull
