- Install, configure, and program automatic door systems and access control devices according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the feasibility of automatic door installations and identify any potential challenges or requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop customized solutions that meet their specific needs and budgetary constraints.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of automatic doors and access control systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with automatic door systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software-related problems.
- Provide training and support to clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of automatic door systems and access control devices.
- Keep accurate records of service calls, work performed, parts used, and customer interactions using our CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to automatic doors and access control systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and servicing automatic doors and access control systems, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, electronic components, and basic programming concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
