What to expect:


  • As a Senior Expert Privacy & Security, you will be responsible for taking on activities within the data protection management system and supporting the optimization of data protection processes to ensure and maintain compliance with data protection regulations. This includes compliance with national laws and regulations, as well as global and local company policies.
  • You will provide data protection advice to departments on contract management (e.g. joint controllers, data processing agreements, controllertocontroller), as well as negotiate data protection contracts with our service providers and customers (globally and locally). This includes negotiating SCCs and conducting Transfer Impact Assessments.
  • You will conduct data protection assessments for projects (e.g. products, systems, other initiatives). This includes conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and identifying the appropriate legal basis. You will balance solution orientation with compliance.
  • You will assist in interpreting laws such as the German Telecommunications Act, the German Federal Data Protection Act, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and court decisions or statements from data protection authorities or the DSK.
