As a Dental Assistant at Heresi Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing equipment, and providing chairside support to dentists and hygienists.

Your dedication to patient care and your ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment will be critical to your success in this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and safety.
  • Prepare Treatment Rooms: Set up and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
  • Patient Care: Escort patients to treatment areas, explain procedures, and address their questions or concerns.
  • X-Ray and Imaging: Take and process dental Xrays as directed by the dentist.
  • Instrument Sterilization: Follow strict infection control protocols to sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes as required.

Administrative Tasks:
Support the front office with tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and verifying insurance information.


Qualifications:


  • Dental Assisting Certification: Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
  • X-

Ray Certification:
Valid Virginia Radiology Certifiation

  • Experience: 23 years Previous experience as a dental assistant
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced dental practice.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and infection control standards.
  • Patient-Focused: Dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
