Position Summary:
As a General Cleaner you will ensure the cleanliness and positive environment of our establishment. You'll provide exceptional guest service while working collaboratively with the team. Your responsibilities include maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, supporting team members, and upholding safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence:
Deliver top-tier guest service to both internal and external guests, consistently fostering a positive culture in all interactions with patrons and co-workers.
Team Support:
Cultivate a supportive and motivating environment for fellow team members, contributing to a harmonious workplace.
Cleaning Excellence:
Perform general cleaning tasks, including carpets, windows, gaming machines, offices, restrooms, and outdoor areas, as directed by the Lead Housekeeper.
Efficient Operation:
Follow checklists and guidelines to ensure the efficient and thorough cleaning of assigned areas.
Communication:
Attend and actively participate in pre-shift briefings, demonstrating punctuality and attentiveness.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to OSHA and Hazcom safety work practices to ensure the well-being of all team members and guests.
Supplies Coordination:
Assist with receiving equipment and supplies, coordinating their distribution and storage.
Equipment Maintenance:
Contribute to the maintenance of storage areas, equipment, and the correct labeling of cleaning chemicals.
Equipment Care:
Monitor equipment conditions and utilize all equipment correctly to ensure proper maintenance.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve issues within your authority and recommend solutions for those that require higher-level attention to your supervisor.
Communication:
Keep your position supervisor informed of relevant activities and updates.
Flexibility:
Be prepared to undertake other duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Preferred experience of three to six months in a similar role.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.

$17.00 per hour
