- _JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY_


Responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process including managing the members of the intake team, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients and referral sources, responding to patients requests and concerns, and managing the insurance verification and authorization processes.

- _ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES_

  • Directs all daily patient referral and intake operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of intake policies.
  • Verifies insurance and utilizes the authorization process.
  • Reverifies Medicare eligibility and obtains insurance verification.
  • Review, edit and approve face to face encounter.
  • Directs the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure patients are admitted in accordance with policy.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
  • Gathers, collates, and reports referral statistics including key customer referral trends.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures.
  • Coordination of all office functions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS_

  • High school diploma, and some college preferred.
  • At least 2 year's experience in Home Health Setting.
  • Demonstrates good communications, negotiation, and public relations skills.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
  • Experience in Home Health as Intake Coordinator/ Office Manager

Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
