Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings meet cleanliness standards for safety functionality appearance.
They assist with work orders generated from resident requests diagnose defects make repairs in accordance with policies procedures safety standards code requirements oversee the preparation of vacant apartments complete maintenance tasks inspect completed work develop standards for community grounds amenities building exteriors market ready unit interiors breezeways curbs signage leasing office central garbage areas parking lots other buildings common areas periodically inspect work performed by service team members contractors vendors other service providers maintain adequate inventory of spare parts works with Community Manager to order supplies tools as needed supports cost-cutting expense control programs conducts regular safety meetings ensures MSDS sheets are current accessible keeps up-to-date on OSHA other safety related laws requirements demonstrates customer services skills treats residents others respectfully answers questions responds sensitively to complaints assigned work orders efficiently.
