    **Assistant Manager**

    Description

    We are looking for a talented Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team Join a team with over 40 years of success in the real estate industry with room for YOU TO GROW.

    The Assistant Property Manager will assist with the day-to-day operations of the community and provide exceptional customer service. The Assistant Property Manager reports to the Property Manager and supports the operations and financial performance of the property.

    **Essential duties and responsibilities:**

    Ensure resident needs are met, inquiries are handled, phones are answered

    Develop relationships with prospective and current tenants.

    Prepare and schedule property viewings, conduct property tours and interview prospective tenants.

    Facilitate lease agreements and run applications.

    Oversee renewal process, move-outs and process evictions as necessary.

    Review and maintain all resident files

    Communicate effectively and clearly with tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.

    Train leasing agents and mentor co-workers.

    Work with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure the timely completion of maintenance requests and property maintenance

    Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in absence of the Property Manager

    Perform any additional duties as assigned by Property Manager and Regional Supervisor

    **Requirements:**

    High school diploma/GED.

    Six to nine months of related experience or training.

    Ability to apply language, math, and reasoning skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

    Understanding of marketing and accounting principles.

    Strong organizational and time management skills.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    Good customer service skills.
