Penguin Random House is seeking an enthusiastic SAP Support Manager interested in being part of the changing media world. In this position you will enhance and support the SAP Order to Cash, Purchasing, Production and Finance processes.We are looking for a talented individual with strong leadership, an aptitude for customer service, ability to creatively troubleshoot, solve system problems, and enjoy doing so in a collaborative environment with business leads and other IT professionals.
Responsbilities:
- Accountable for SAP support of all of SAP Supply Chain business unit
- Establish and ensure service levels are always met assess, anticipate, and recommend appropriate actions and resources; investigate and understand requirements.
- Liaison with the teams across IT to ensure consistent adherence to defined standards and processes. Prevent and resolve major incidents and problems.
- Create and publish SLA reports identify challenges and service improvement plans
- Be the point of escalation for any SAP service delivery related issues
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key technology partners, sourcing providers to ensure swift ramp up of team as and when required
- Foster a highperformance team by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining
- Effectively delegate and focus team and resources on business priorities
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including endtoend implementations and SAP support engagements
- Solid understanding of SAP infrastructure (on premises as well as cloud)
- Extensive handson experience in core SAP modules (SD and/or MM) as an SAP Developer or SAP Functional Analyst is a must. This includes design, development, configuration, and testing roles on projects and tasks.
- Experience managing SAP functional and development resources
- Solid experience supporting daytoday operations or managing projects with a focus on distribution or supply chain business teams
- Experience in IT infrastructure and digital technologies will be an added advantage
- Working knowledge on ServiceNow platform will be helpful
- Strong analytical skills, experience solving practical issues, and engaging teams of multiple process partners to consensus
- Strong knowledge on IT industry standards and best practices to develop organizational capabilities (people, processes, technology, knowledge) and process improvement models
- Problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnosis skills for technical issues
