    FLSA:

    Non-ExemptPay Rate:
    $18.00 Hr. (Upon Completion of MODD training $21.00 HR)
    SUMMARY
    • A Direct Support Professional provides assistance in various daily living aspects, such as personal care, community integration, skills development, and ensuring personal safety.
    BASIC FUNCTIONS AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provides high-quality and individual-centered services following best practices.
    • Implements Individual Support Plans (ISP) and behavioral support plans effectively.
    • Offers personalized activities and promotes individual choices and community participation.
    • Ensures compliance with all legal documentation requirements.
    • Focuses on health and safety through personal care and health-related duties.
    • Manages finances and personal funds responsibly.
    • Administers medications and provides support with medical appointments.
    • Maintains a safe and comfortable living environment.
    • Contributes to cooking, budgeting, and organizing resident activities.

    All Other Duties as Assigned
    ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Advocates for the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
    • Reports any abuse or neglect immediately.
    • Maintains necessary certifications and credentials.
    • Provides and accepts feedback constructively.
    • Follows company policies and procedures diligently.
    Physical Expectations
    • Requires walking, standing, and occasional lifting as per individual needs.
    • May involve physical intervention in challenging situations.
    • Driving clients as part of community integration.
    Working Conditions
    • Office/home environment with typical noises and occasional exposure to infections.
    • Varied hours to meet individual needs.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficient in English communication.
    • Clean background record in abuse and neglect.
    • Reliable transportation for client transport.
    • Positive professional standards and safe practices.
