Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning and development of style guides, creative assets, PD tools, and serving as the primary driver behind the creation process.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to source talent and manage the execution of creative projects, ensuring alignment with brand standards and objectives.
  • Work closely with our Licensing agent(s) and directly with partners to facilitate onboarding, provide inspiration, and guide creative collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead all stages of product development across all categories for any direct deals, including Brand Collaborations and Promotional Partnerships. Undertake general design tasks to support Licensing team's efforts, including but not limited to branding, packaging,promotional and marketing collateral trade show needs, and sales materials.
  • Manage and maintain creative resources library, asset clearances, and serve as point person for Supercell's licensing management platform provider.
  • Assist in the early stages of creative approvals, offering valuable input and feedback, until the establishment of a dedicated brand assurance role as project volume increases.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience years) in a creative leadership role, preferably within the licensing and consumer products industry.
  • Exceptional design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
  • Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and brand positioning.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with licensing agreements and understanding of intellectual property rights.
  • Detailed understanding of the product development processes, production, and manufacturing.
  • Previous exposure to brand management or brand marketing initiatives.
  • Experience working with Licensing Software Management Platforms.

What Success Looks Like:


Short-term: Within the first 3-6 months, gain comprehensive knowledge of our games, build critical relationships, assess, develop and initiate an asset roadmap, and be leading the product development process.


Mid-term: Develop a clear creative vision that translates into actionable deliverables, implement processes to scale the business, while inspiring our partners and team with new creative directions.

Long-term: Powering creative excellence across our licensing efforts to deliver best-in-class, innovative products that drive fandom for our franchises.

Benefits and Compensation

While the salary range based on your background, skills, and experience for this position is $156k - $234k, your financial compensation model also consists of an annual bonus, RSU equity, and 401k.
