The Job At-A-Glance:


The Q2 Innovation Studio is changing the industry by offering Financial Institutions the ability to easily and rapidly extend Q2's Digital Banking platform and take advantage of third-party partner solutions already pre-integrated and available through several innovative programs.

This team has an opening for a Director, Innovation Studio GTM Strategy & Programs is responsible for leading a team to drive rapid adoption of Innovation Studio programs and solutions into Q2's Financial Institution (FI) customers and their account holders.

It's an exciting time to be part of this new business inside of Q2 and an opportunity for this individual to make a big impact in the industry


A Typical Day:

  • Lead, inspire and motivate a team of FI sales specialists and account holder marketing and adoption specialists.
  • Develop the sales and account holder marketing strategy to penetrate Q2 FIs and their account holders
  • Evangelize and demonstrate the power and uniqueness of the Q2 Innovation Studio.
  • Engage directly with the FIs to uncover relevant insights about their goals, challenges, and account portfolio to position and drive adoption of the Innovation Studio programs and solutions
  • Work with and enable Q2's sales and relationship management organization in a leveraged model to accelerate FI adoption of the Innovation Studio.
  • Carry quota for a target number of FI/Partner combinations, account holder subscriptions and transactions, and revenue.
  • Measure and manage FI/Partner App adoption progress; learn and continue to evolve the strategy and approach
  • Build and automate processes to scale the programs rapidly
  • Work closely with Business Development on optimizing the relationship with FinTech partners, including ongoing analysis of performance and reporting
  • Work with marketing to ensure events, partner messaging, collateral, demos, presentations, due diligence packets are all seamlessly integrated into the Q2 Innovation Studio framework.
  • Influence and collaborate with business development team on partner strategy & targets that have the highest demand and revenue potential.

Here's What We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years experience overall including at a Financial Services cloud software/tech company in the following areas:
  • Direct sales role or Channel sales leadership role
  • Overall Marketing & Account Holder marketing experience
  • Solid understanding of the Financial Services industry
  • Solid understanding of the Fintech Software market
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in an eCommerce software company or division focused on datadriven digital marketing to consumers and/or businesses
  • Previous experience building relationships with Clevel and technical executives critical
  • Self starter who thrives in building new businesses
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English._
