Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Perform custodial duties such as emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and power washing walls, floors, cages, kennels, and other animalused areas.
  • Clean and maintain equipment used for cleaning purposes.
  • Assist in the movement of materials as needed.
  • Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain a polite and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues, visitors, and animals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Handle animal waste and perform cleanup of biohazardous materials with appropriate training and precautions.
  • Occasionally climb ladders or stepstools to access certain areas and cages for cleaning purposes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around animals and able to handle animal waste.
  • No allergies to animals or fear of animals.
  • Willingness to undergo training related to biohazardous waste cleanup.

Experience:


  • Must have 13 years of construction or concrete work experience.

Education:


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Successfully complete preemployment background check.
  • Perform cleaning services for extended shifts and possible weekends.

Work Hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 a.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
