    In the role of Traffic EIT/Coordinator , we'll count on you to:
    Provide engineering, design, and production support.

    Support Project Engineers in development of traffic studies including traffic impact analyses, traffic signal timing plans, microscopic simulation modeling, and macroscopic simulation modeling.

    Will work closely with Project Engineers/Project Managers to prepare PS&E plans including signing and striping, traffic signals, illumination, and traffic control plans for various state and local agencies.

    Applicant should have prior experience in these areas and should be able to work in a team environment.
    May make decisions on design and engineering procedures.
    Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsEIT certification strongly preferred.

    Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionExperience with Highway Capacity Software, Microstation or AutoCAD, ArcGIS, TransCAD, or VISSIM is a plus.

    Master's degree in Transportation/Traffic engineering discipline preferredRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringAbility to multitask while working on many projects at onceAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
