Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace and Defense

Ingenium Technologies - Rockford, IL

Position Purpose

Guides and directs assigned designers and other personnel to ensure that design specification requirements and project schedules are met Plans, schedules and coordinates detailed phases of a project.

Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Participates in and promotes process improvements within assigned areas.

Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, non-standard materials and difficult coordination requirements.

Independently troubleshoots/analyzes component/system problems. Independently writes and performs component tests.
Education or Formal Training
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or technical science field required, advanced degree preferred.
Software
Solidworks MS Office
Experience Required
Compensation: 6-12 Month Contract, Remote Work Eligible
