Description
Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures- Assign appropriate codes from provider documentation to include; assignment of ICD10, CPT4 codes and modifiers (when applicable)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
- Submit claims to insurance companies
- Demonstrate good communication and team work skills.
- Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology/ Medical terminology required
- Education: CPC, CCS and ICD10 certified preferred
- Minimum 2 years of coding and billing experience required
- Strong Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills
- Excellent communication, follow up and interpersonal skills
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
