As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating a printing press in a safe manner and achieves maximum output while ensuring a quality product.

• This is a fulltime position. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 1:00 PM9:00 PM.
• Pay will be determined based on experience, starting at $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift premium increase potential at 60 day and 120 day review.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Print Press Operation:
• Operate and control label printing machines according to established procedures and production schedules.
• Setup and Calibration:
• Set up label printing machines with appropriate materials, including paper and cores, and ensure correct calibration for accurate and consistent printing.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor label printing processes to ensure proper alignment, print quality, and adherence to product specifications. Perform routine quality checks to maintain high standards of product presentation.
• Troubleshooting:
• Identify and troubleshoot label printing machinerelated issues such as jams, misprints, and malfunctions. Take appropriate corrective actions or escalate to the maintenance team as necessary.
• Maintenance and Cleaning:
• Perform regular maintenance tasks on label printing machines including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Keep machines and work areas clean and organized.
• Production Support:
• Collaborate with the Print Production team to meet daily production goals and timelines. Assist in material handling, staging, loading, and unloading supplies, and product packaging as needed.
• Recordkeeping:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including label printing machine settings, output quantities, and any quality issues. Report any discrepancies or concerns to the Supervisor.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 24 years of factoryrelated experience in a press environment

• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting label printing machines, including familiarity with label placement, print settings, and adjustment controls. Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work. Ability to identify and rectify printing errors or defects promptly.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced production environment. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve machinerelated issues quickly and efficiently. Proactive in suggesting process improvements.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, report issues, and follow instructions accurately.
