Life Sciences Group - Global Services & Support Operations & Transformation


Position Summary:


Within GSS, you will work with a broad team, across multiple functions, and support our regional partners while leading Digital Transformation and Operational functions such as PMO, Data Analytics, and Data Integration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the organization's digital transformation efforts by using technologies such as the internet of things, cloud computing, advanced analytics, data sciences, mobile, social, and artificial intelligence. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive innovation and optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate with key partners to develop and prioritize pivotal initiatives. Create actionable roadmaps and manage funding and portfolio allocation to ensure alignment with business objectives. Drive execution excellence across all initiatives.
  • Use waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to changing market dynamics.
  • Design and deliver strategic programs in enterprise data science, business intelligence, and advanced analytics. Drive decisionmaking across the organization to enhance competitiveness and drive growth.
  • Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, quality, and compliance standards, particularly in regulated industries such as medical devices and life sciences. Implement robust risk management practices to safeguard organizational assets and reputation.
  • Build and champion hardworking teams through effective leadership, coaching, and talent development initiatives. Develop a culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain sharp focus on internal and external customers by providing solutions to elevate and transform the business.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Masters Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, project management, or related degree.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Agile Scrum.
Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in platform implementation and management
  • At least 8 years managing staff and program teams
  • Proven experience in digital transformation leadership, preferably in the life sciences or medical device industry
  • Strong background in technology strategy development, portfolio management, and enterprise platform implementation
  • Experience managing security, regulatory compliance, and risk
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals
  • Interpersonal savvy, the ability to advance the roadmap and agenda while maintaining strong partnerships

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $185,000.00-$235,000.00.


This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
