    As a Full Stack Developer in our dynamic team, you'll be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our digital world, with a focus on cutting-edge, cloud-native solutions. Your role involves diving deep into all aspects of development, with a key emphasis on building and maintaining strong production environments through proactive troubleshooting and optimization. While UI design is part of your responsibilities, your main focus will be on enhancing the support for our intricate production systems. This means mastering our wide range of technologies and using your expertise to maintain top-notch, scalable systems.

    This role is ideal for developers who are keen to explore cloud-native technologies to tackle complex problems and are eager to broaden their skills within a fast-paced, multi-faceted setting. This position is part of Chello's Technology, Operations, and Development Team, based onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead and actively contribute to resolving production issues using various technologies like Java, Spring Framework, Axios, CSS, HTML5, and Material UI.
    • Promptly resolve production issues by actively engaging in operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
    • Ensure systems and applications are reliable and performant, following security standards and focusing on data security.
    • Understand security compliance and operations.
    • Translate business requirements and technical specs, collaborating with engineers, architects, and management to define optimal solutions for users.
    • Create and update technical design documents for new developments and system changes to maintain a comprehensive record of work done.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
    • Three (3) years of Java software development experience, with a preference for distributed cloud systems.
    • Educational and experiential requirements can be substituted with a mix of education, training, and experience that equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Experience in designing user interfaces for web apps.
    • Skillful in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Proficient in cloud computing concepts like virtualization, networking, and storage. AWS experience is a big plus.
    • Worked with RESTful APIs.
    • Familiarity with SDLC best practices, including DevOps.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
    • Great problem-solving skills, able to think strategically and act tactically.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both tech and non-tech audiences.
