Your responsibilities will include working as an Expert Signalling Main Focus on ETCS (f/m/d) for DB International Operations in Berlin, starting as soon as possible


This will involve:

  • Preparing the technical aspects of maintenance for signaling in international railway infrastructure bids
  • Supporting DB O&M staff during project phases such as testing and commissioning, system integration, trial operation, and project handover
  • Analyzing inquiries and bid documents, creating requirement catalogs, and preparing evaluation criteria
  • Calculating maintenance costs for signaling, including labor, spare parts, and consumables
  • Preparing O&M requirements and technical specifications for signaling maintenance and ensuring they are met in the bid
  • Clearly and convincingly presenting content to customers, using text, tables, and graphics to demonstrate how bid criteria will be fulfilled
  • Taking responsibility for securing licenses, safety certificates, and conducting acceptance tests for technical operating systems
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A master's or diploma degree in engineering
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in rail infrastructure
