• Signon bonus: $1,500 (bonus to be paid out in 3, 6month installments)

• Assist Lead Teacher: Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and daily activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
• Supervision: Monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and childfriendly classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
• Individualized Care: Provide individualized attention and care to children, addressing their unique needs and fostering their growth and development.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns or developments.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement ageappropriate activities and curriculum that align with the daycare's philosophy and goals.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including administering first aid when necessary, maintaining proper hygiene practices, and following emergency procedures.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education. Minimum of 30 hours of training per year.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Valid TX state driver's license to support driving program vehicles.
• Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is desirable.
• CPR and First Aid certification a plus (will provide inhouse certification).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from lead teachers and supervisors.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of children and the daycare environment.
