    Northmarq is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join the Loan Operations team within the Servicingdepartment at their Minneapolis, MN (Bloomington, MN) headquarters office.

    Responsibilities for this role include completing monthly/quarterly reporting in accordance with Servicing Agreements, reviewing servicing documents, and ensuring portfolio information is accurately set up in our loan servicing system.

    In addition, this role ensures that procedures are documented and regularly updated.

    Identifying and implementing process improvements under the leadership of the Compliance Manager is also an important aspect of this role.

    *This position is an in-office position, with an immediate start date.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Assist with the coordination of various audits.

    Correspond with internal and external auditors, organize audit requests, and collaborate with internal departments to complete audits by requested deadlines.

    Compile and send monthly reports to Lenders. Demonstrate deadline management, interpretation of Lender guidelines, and professional communication.
    Coordinate monthly and quarterly certifications for Lender receipt. Compile, organize, and submit data per the corresponding policies and procedures.

    Ensure the Servicing Division is adhering to all compliance standards, inclusive of, but not limited to, annual compliance processing, loan delinquency reporting to Senior Management, and internal and external audit facilitation.

    Update the Servicing System and appropriate internal parties throughout the securitization process. Ensure email communication, Portfolio creation, and PDF bookmarking of servicing agreements are completed/processed per the procedure.
    Support our growing Servicing business by setting up and maintaining accurate Lender information within the Servicing System.

    Work with Senior Leadership to obtain executed signature pages and email/mail to appropriate parties following the closing of each transaction.

    Address various year-end tasks in connection with outlined annual processes. Review year-end servicing documentation and collaborate with internal departments to ensure all servicing deadlines and requirements are met.
    Provide support to the Compliance team project efforts as directed by the Manager.
    Provide occasional backup support to other Servicing Operations teams, at the direction of the Manager.

    What We're Looking For:


    1-3 years of previous Operations or Compliance experience preferred.
    Recent or upcoming college graduates are eligible to apply.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    Familiarity with commercial loan terminology is preferred, but not required.
    Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, and agency guides and evaluate Northmarq procedures to ensure compliance.
    Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; plan, set, and adhere to time constraints.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Strong organizational skills.
    Demonstrate premier customer service and communication to Lenders, Borrowers, internal NorthMarq staff, and Auditors.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
    Maintain a work product that reflects strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
